Agatsuma Gorge, designated as the National scenic spot in 1925, is located at the downstream of Yanba Dam. We will walk for 2 hours along Agatsuma river while enjoying seasonal beauty. Walk about 30minutes from the start point, we will cross the Monkey bridge which has continued elimination and reconstruction from Edo period. You will be able to see the white silky waterfall from the bridge. 3minutes from the bridge you will be amazed to see 200m/656ft high cliff which was made by the erosion of Agatsuma river. 10 minutes from the cliff will be the highlight of the gorge, Haccho-kuragari. Join us and find out how beautiful it is! The remaining of hike will be 60 minutes to the bottom of Yanpa dam. Look up the huge embankment, then take the elevator to go upper part of the dam.
Afterwards, we will take 50-minute reservoir cruise by the amphibious bus.

*It is for ages 6 and up.
*The reservoir cruise may be cancelled with short notice due to the weather/reservoir’s condition.
*The amphibious bus does not have glass windows. Having
possibilities getting wet.
Wear: Trekking shoes, Appropriate clothing to walk, Cap/hat.
Bring: Rain gear, Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Towel, Water/snacks, Change of clothes, (Trekking poles), Yen for lunch and anything you may need.
