- Registration Information
Eligible youth may participate in the sports program for a fee. When you register your child(ren) to participate, they will be assigned to a team, issued a basic uniform (all uniforms will be hand receipted to parents which must be returned at the end of the season ) and guaranteed a specific amount of playing time. If there are more than one teams in the 9-15 divisions, youth must attend a skills assessment meeting. Each sport season will end with an End of the Season Party which includes food & drinks, and a participation award.
Volunteer coaches and officials are always needed. Volunteers are the backbone of all YSF sports programs. All sport fees will be waived for the Head coach children, playing during the same season. Assistant coaches receive one child free and subsequent children multiple discount. Anyone interested, please contact the Youth Sports Office, DSN 263-5437. Volunteers should register at ArmyOneSource to be a volunteer coach. This site is the official site for volunteers to keep hours of volunteer time.

Your Youth Sports and Fitness Program was developed to meet your children's recreation and athletic needs, emphasizing safety, participation, and fundamental good sportsmanship. Every program is designed to provide all youth the opportunity to participate, develop fundamental skills and grow in an atmosphere of sportsmanship, citizenship and teamwork.
The National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) has a website for evaluation of coaches. Parents have the opportunity to evaluate coaches on the NAYS website. Parents must have the coach member number to rate their coach. You can get this number from the CYS Sports and Fitness office.
A sports-specific physical must be completed annually, prior to the start of the sports season. The form must be completed with a doctor’s signature and stamp, then submitted to Parent Central Services during registration.
Hint: The best time to get your child’s physical — if possible — is in July. This way, your child’s physical will be valid for all sports for one full year.
