First, we will walk along the stream for 40 minutes, then leave the stream to ascent steep uphill for 35 minutes. Following 35 minutes will be the
gentle uphill until the top of Tsuchidake, altitude 599m/1,965ft. Take deep breath at the wide summit covered with lawn and enjoy the view of Mt. Tsukuba, Mt. Fuji and Nasu mountains if the weather is clear. After 50-minute descending, we will get to the highlight of this tour, Hananuki Gorge. Big and small waterfalls and pools are dotted on the Hananuki
River and the gorge is colored with the autumn tints. Enjoy maple festival at the gorge.

*It is for ages 10 and up.
*The festival may be cancelled with short notice. The tour will not be cancelled even if the festival is cancelled.
Wear: Waterproof trekking shoes, Appropriate clothing to hike, Cap/hat.
Bring: Rain gear, Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Towel, Snacks/water, (Trekking poles), (change of clothes), Yen for lunch and anything you may need.
