Note: This event has already passed.

Haruna Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture. It is dedicated to the gods of water, fire, and agriculture. It is also said to give blessings of prosterity in business and marriage. Surrounded by ancient cedar trees, the grounds are filled with a tranquil and divine atmosphere. As you walk along the 700-meter scenic route in this 15-hectare site to the main shrine, you will pass by the shrine's historic buildings, the Seven Gods of Good Fortune, and a giant tree said to be between 600 and 1,000 years old. The six historic buildings are a designated National Cultural Heritage Site. Afterwards, we will visit Takasaki Kannon in 1936, visitors can go inside and walk up to the shoulder level floor to see a nice view of Takasaki city and mountains. Kannon Cave took 50 years to build and it's all hand made. You will enjoy seeing a 400-meter long cave lined with 33 stone Kannon and Buddha with images of death and paradise.
