Our day starts from Katsuura morning market, which has 430-year history. It began as the trading place for the fisher men and farmers. Enjoy breakfast, then stroll the serene atmosphere market street. We highly recommend to visit Tomisaki shrine where is a few minute walk from the market. Complete 60 steep steps to see magnificent Pacific Ocean from the shrine site. Our next stop, Katsuura aquarium will be underwater observation style aquarium. Go down the spiral stairs to see real ocean lives; 96 kind of sea lives will be seen throughout the year. Our last excitement will be the sand spa experience at Wadaura beach. Lay down on the beach, cover your body with the sand to relax and detox.
*It is for ages 10 and up.
*Sand spa will not be available in the event of rain. If the tour day is rainy, we will stop by alternate location.
*Tour price includes the rental sweat suits/shower sandals for the sand spa, but sizes are limited. If your body/foot size is big, please bring own sweat suits.
*Two (2) towels necessary for the sand spa.
Bring: Bathing suit, Towels (2 for sand spa, 1 for multipurpose), Hat/Cap, Water, Shopping bag, Small ice chest, Yen for lunch and anything you may need.
