Daigahara developed as the post town on Koshu Kaido (current route 20) in Edo era. 50,000 people visit Daigahara on the 3rd weekend of October every year. Their target will be the craft/antique market. More than 200 booths are set along with 750m street. Cray, glass, wood, leather, metal, rice paper, fabric etc., crafts made from many kind of material are sold at open air. You will find the “one-of-a-kind”!

*Please bring enough cash. ATM will not be available around the market area.

Wear: Comfortable shoes to walk.

Bring: Shopping bags/Shopping cart trolley, Rain gear, Yen for shopping, lunch and anything you may need.
