Kasama, famous as the pottery town, is also known as the top chestnut
producing area in Japan. For celebrating good harvest, they hold chestnut
festival every October. Purchase chestnut products, then taste roast
chestnuts, chestnut ice cream and freshly squeezed chestnut paste etc.
Fun games such as chestnut golf, burr dart, craft workshops are available
as well. After the festival, we will visit the most popular temple and shrine
in Kasama City.
Bring: Rain gear, Yen for lunch and anything you may need.
