ODR Tour - Mt. Yokote Hiking

Avoid heat and enjoy short hiking at Shiga Kogen plateau, altitude at 2,100m. We will hike on Mt. Yokote for 40 minutes to the summit. Mt.Yokote is famous for its panoramic beautiful view and the mysterious sea of clouds might be seen under certain weather conditions. Another excitement will be the delicious additive-free bread sold at the mountain hut on the summit. Many people from all over Japan visit the hut to aim for their bakery. Munch some under the vivid summer sky. After the hike, we will stop by Kusatsu Onsen to stroll the area and/or soak at the hot spa.

*It is for ages 6 and up.
*The bakery above the clouds is very popular. We do not guarantee you can get the bread.
*Average temperature at Shiga Kogen area is 23C/73F. Please bring extra clothes.
*Weather at mountains is not stable. Bring rain suits.
Wear: Trekking shoes, Appropriate clothing to hike (non-cotton material), Cap/hat.
Bring: Rain suits, Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Towel, Water/snacks, (Trekking Poles), Yen for lunch and anything you may need.
