Nezame-no-toko located in Nagano prefecture, it literally means “wake-up bed”. It is a bed of rocks at an enchanting location along the Kiso river, known for its fascinating rock formations and its beautiful emerald green color water. Our net stop is Magomejuku. Where during Edo period there were five roadways that connected to Edo (Tokyo) and outlying regions. The Nakasendo road linked Edo and Kyoto which ran through central
Japan. It has 69 posting stations of which Magome-juku was the 43rd. Walking through Magome-juku will transport you back to Edo period. Enjoy the local food and get some souvenirs as well!
