Numazu faces Suruga Bay, which is the deepest bay in Japan. Due to its ecosystem, there are 1,000 types of marine species that inhabits Suruga Bay. Let’s visit the only deep sea aquarium in Japan and see interesting marine life that seems to be out of this world. There are many restaurants that serve local fish that can only be caught at Suruga Bay. Try some for lunch to have this unique experience. Do not forget to bring ice and an ice chest if you plan on buying seafood at the market! Before visiting the aquarium, we will stop by Kakitagawa Spring Park where there you can lightly soak under the clear water that is constantly flowing from Mt. Fuji.

Bring: Rain gear, ice/ice chest, Yen for lunch and anything you may need.
