Our tour starts at Oshino Hakkai. There are eight different ponds in this area. The eight ponds are fed by snow melt from the slope of nearby Mt. Fuji that filters down mountain through porous layers of lava for over 80 years, resulting in very clear spring water that is revered by the locals. You will find many restaurants, souvenir shops and food venders around the ponds. After lunch, we will go to Sakana (Fish) Park. There is a small aquarium in the park. If your kids love sea animals, this is a great place to take them to learn about water and water animals.
Bring: Yen for lunch and anything you may need.
