Old Tokaido Hiking & Satta Pass

Our guides will take you to a lovely, exhilarating hike through Old Tokaido Road, the main artery between Tokyo and Kyoto during the Edo period. This hike will take you from Okitsu Station, through Okitsu River and to the entrance of Satta Pass. The first 10 minutes after Satta Pass will be the hardest part of the hike, but you will be rewarded with fantastic views of old and new Japanese townscapes.
• Wear trekking shoes and appropriate clothing for hiking, rain gear, caps, hat & sunglasses
• Bring sunscreen, water/snacks, and Yen for lunch or anything you may need
• For ages 12 & up, may be cancelled with short notice due to inclement weather.
