Note: This event has already passed.

Depart: 6 a.m. / Return: 8:30 p.m.

Our first destination will be Oarai, the fisheries in Ibaraki Prefecture. The symbol of Oarai is a Torii standing at a shore reef. It is said that the location of the Torii is where the Holy Ghost descended upon. Many people visit to take beautiful photos of the sacred Torii and dynamic Pacific Ocean. After the shrine and Torii, we will proceed to Oarai fishing port to try their local delicacy, Monkfish. Contrary to it’s bizarre and out-of-thisworld look, it is known in Japan as a high-quality fish. Taste Monkfish stew and other seafood at the port. The highlight of this tour is the visit to the Hitachi Seaside Park. The park is covered with seasonal flowers all year round and you will be able to see the harmony of blue sky, ocean and 530 Nemophilas. This is a must-go-to trip during your time in Japan!

Wear: Comfortable shoes to walk, Cap/hat.
Bring: Rain gear, Yen for lunch and anything you may need.
