Enjoy this 2-day concrete jungle trek in the heart of Tokyo. Our first day starts by visiting The Orthodox Church in Japan, which is the oldest brick building of important cultural property. Observe one of the biggest Byzantine Architecture built in 1891, then walk towards the world’s largest antiquarian bookstore area, Jinbocho. In addition to antiquarian books, there are other types of books that are sold. Spend an hour to hunt valuable books! Jinbocho is also famous for it’s curry and often regarded as a curry town. Try a variety of curries from India, Sri Lanka, Europe, and other places around the world. After lunch, we will walk for 15 minutes to the entrance of the Outer Gardens of the Imperial Palace. Stroll through the huge garden that contains historical objects from the Edo era. A one hour walk from the garden is Tokyo Recreational Lodging (Hardy Barracks), our goal of 1st day. Here we will stay overnight. After you check in, enjoy free time in Roppongi district, a city within a city. Next day, enjo breakfast around Aoyama area and afterwards walk for 30 minutes to a national treasure site, the State Guest House of Akasaka Place. Visit the breathtaking beautiful garden and the gorgeous main hall that is lined with marble. Afterwards, walk for 30 minutes along Kanda river to Kagurazaka. We will stray away from the main avenue to enjoy a walk through the narrow back street where the ambiance of the remains of former geisha quarters
*It is for ages 10 and up, must have a valid U.S. Military ID.

*Please bring additional health care products if the amenities provided by Tokyo Recreation Lodging doesn’t meet your needs.
*Restaurants and shops might be limited depending on COVID-19 conditions.

Wear: Comfortable shoes and clothes to walk, Cal/hat.
Bring: Rain gear, Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Towel, Water/Snacks, Change of clothes, Travel kit, Medicine you may need, (PASMO/SUICA if you have), Yen for Lunch/Dinner/Breakfast and anything you may need.

Cost

Adult (18+) $84, Teen (12-17) $74, Child (10-11) $69, in addition to $85 per room. (Accommodation, Admission, Guide, Transportation included)
