Shosenkyo Hiking

#
Note: This event has already passed.

Let’s walk through the most beautiful gorge in Japan, Shosenkyo! Due to its amazing scenery and abundant clarity, Shosehkyo Gorge has been designated as Japan Heritage! Beginning of the hike, you will be able to see unique-shaped rocks along Arakawa River. Walk about 30 minutes and you will get to Tenkorin woods. By stomping firmly on the ground, you might be able to hear echoes emanating from underground, a natural phenomenon. 40 minutes from Tenkorin, you will pass through a naturally-formed stone gate. The highlight of the gorge, the Sengataki Waterfall, is a few minutes from the stone gate. Climb 180 steps and you will arrive at the Crystal Street where we will enjoy lunch and free time. You’ll have the opportunity to ride a gondola, visit museums, taste wine and crystal hunting.
