Sumata Gorge Hiking

#
Note: This event has already passed.

Sumata gorge is located at the bottom of Southern Japan Alps, famous for its beautiful nature and hot spa. We will hike 60 minutes on a trail in the woods, which is called Green Shower Road. It is connected to the Sumata Gorge promenade course. The highlight of the hike will be Yume-no-Tsuribashi (suspension bridge of the dream.) This suspension bridge is nominated as one of the world’s top ten suspension bridges you should walk in your life. Cross the 90m bridge 8m above a mysterious turquoise blue water, then climb steep 304 steps to the view point. After the view point, we will cross Hiryu-bashi (flying dragon bridge) then arrive at our goal, Sumatakyo Onsen Area. We will take lunch break around Senzu station, which is the station you can see a steam locomotive.
