Re-creating the splendor and allure of the Edo Period, this festival in Saitama Prefecture features magnificent 20-30ft tall floats with costumed dancers representing various local cities. They break out into drum battles at each street corner, and the winner of the battle gets to lead the parade! Additionally, there is a mikoshi (portable shrine) procession.
