Kozaki town is known as the brewery town. During the Edo period, the town used the adjacent Tone River as a water source for brewery. At its height, there were seven sake breweries and there are only two that exists today. Since 2009, the town started hosting its annual brewery festival in March and 50,000 people visited at the smallest town in Chiba prefecture. About 200 venders opened booths to sell foods, vegetables, local products, crafts etc. before COVID-19 spread, and it will be first time to be held since 2019! Highlight of the festival will be Sake tasting. You can try variety of Sake for a free and/or a fee. Brewery tour will also be available on the festival day. Music performance will be held at the stage as well.

*It is for all ages; however we do not recommend small children/ strollers due to crowd.

Wear: Comfortable shoes to walk around.

Bring: Rain gear, Shopping bag/Shopping cart trolley, Yen for lunch, shop-ping and anything you may need.
