Tokoname is one of the six major pottery town in Japan and has 1,000 histories. Not only table ware, tile, sanitary ware, construction material, variety of products are made by clay. In Edo era, they found the technique to make pipes by ceramic and the mass production of the sewage pipes were started. 2 km/1.24 mi walking trails which are decorated with the ceramic pipes, liquor bottles, scratch of potteries etc. are set in Tokoname city. Stroll the city along with the pottery trails, stop by pottery shops / studios and oldest kiln in Japan. We will stop by Centrair for lunch. You can enjoy soaking at the hot spa while watching airplanes take off and landing as well.

*It is for all ages, however we do not recommend it for small children due to the long bus ride and difficulty to use the strollers.

Wear: comfortable shoes and clothing to walk, Cap/hat.

Bring: Rain gear, Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Towel, Water/Snacks, Yen for lunch and anything you may need.
