Instructional Programs

Part of being a well-rounded person is developing more than physical and social skills. The arts are an important part of life development. We offer lessons in both Music and Art as part of developing a well-rounded and fulfilling childhood. Instructional programs are taught in once a week monthly lessons and available in a first come, first served basis. To secure a space and time, please contact Parent Central Services.

Sports Physical

A sports-specific physical must be completed annually, prior to the start of the sports season or instructional fitness program. The form must be completed with a doctor’s signature and stamp, then submitted to Parent Central Services during registration. To schedule a sports physical, please contact your primary healthcare provider.

Registration Information

Eligible youth may participate in the sports program for a fee. When you register your child(ren) to participate, they will be assigned to a team, issued a basic uniform (all uniforms will be hand receipted to parents which must be returned at the end of the season ) and guaranteed a specific amount of playing time. If there are more than one teams in the 9-15 divisions, youth must attend a skills assessment meeting. Each sport season will end with an End of the Season Party which includes food & drinks, and a participation memento.

Billing Information

Patrons enrolled in any Contractor led instructional programing (such as music, art, martial arts, dance, gymnastics, or swim) will be entered into our billing program. This process ensures your space in that classroom is secured, and allows for flexibility in payment without worry of losing your enrollment.

On the 1st of each month you will be billed in full for any lessons you will be attending in that month. The bill will be adjusted to prorate for any instructor based cancelations, holidays, or other facility closures that take away from the number of classes held. You have until the end of the next full week to then make payment for the bill at any of the CYS payment facilities. This is currently all facilities with the exception of Youth Sports and Fitness.

If there is a credit on your account, the billing cycle will use those funds to make payment automatically on the 1st. If the funds were sufficient to clear the bill then no further action is needed. If the funds were not sufficient to cover the full bill, then you must still visit a CYS facility to make payment.

CYS does not have the ability to automatically charge your credit card during billing.

Patrons who do not make payment within the designated time will be notified of their delinquency and be reminded to make payment. Failure to pay within the guidelines of that reminder may result in the student losing their space in the class as well as being unenrolled from the class in the future.

If you believe a bill is in error please contact our office or Parent Central Services.

Volunteers

Volunteer coaches and officials are always needed. Volunteers are the backbone of all YSF sports programs. All sport fees will be waived for the Head coach children, playing during the same season. Assistant coaches receive one child free and subsequent children multiple discount. Anyone interested, please contact the Youth Sports Office, DSN 262-6137. Volunteers should register at ArmyOneSource to be a volunteer coach. This site is the official site for volunteers to keep hours of volunteer time.
