- In consideration of others, please clean-up your area after eating or drinking in the solarium/BBQ area. Misuse may result in banning of all food & drinks in the solarium/BBQ area. In addition, there is no eating in the pool area. Your consideration is greatly appreciated.
- No glass or ceramic containers allowed in the solarium.
- Due to life threatening allergies latex balloons are not allowed.
- If using BBQ area, patrons must bring their one charcoal and dispose of it in the charcoal bin.
- All trash must be disposed of at the outside dumpster near the little league field.
- As a courtesy, when solarium is reserved, only invited guests are permitted in the solarium.
This facility is open year-round. It is an indoor facility with a 25 meter, 8-lane pool with shallow water and deep water areas (3 feet to 12 feet). There is a separate wading pool for children 6 and under. In addition, there is a sauna, Jacuzzi, and steam room adjacent to the pool area. The Solarium has tables, BBQ area and lounge chairs to relax. The room can be reserved for parties during operational hours (at a fee).
Age Policy for Pools:Children 15 years of age and below are not permitted in the pool unless accompanied by and under the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Children 16 and older have access to the pools without parental supervision. Exception: Children participating in special programs organized and conducted by Aquatics, CYS, the schools, or other authorized youth organizations may participate under designated adult supervision. Age Policy for Sauna, Jacuzzi, and Steam Room:Children 12 years of age and below are not permitted in the sauna, Jacuzzi, or steam room. Youth 13 to 15 can use the sauna, Jacuzzi, and steam room as only as they are accompanied by and under the direct supervision of a parent or adult guardian. Youth 16 and older can use the sauna, Jacuzzi, and steam room without supervision, but must still adhere to safety requirements for those areas. |

Courses
Lifeguard Courses
The American Red Cross Lifeguard Course provides training for entry-level lifeguards. Students learn skills and knowledge necessary to help prevent, to recognize, and to respond to emergencies and sudden illness until advanced medical help arrives and takes over.
The core curriculum includes CPR and AED for the Professional Rescuer (CPR/AED/FPR), First Aid, and Lifeguard Skills.
Solarium
Solarium Reservation
The Solarium can be reserved for parties by submitting a "Solarium Reservation Request" to the Front Desk at Yano Fitness Center no less than two weeks in advance. Reservations are based on availability. There is a fee. Forms are available at Yano Fitness Center. Forms can be e-mailed to you upon request.

Other Programs
Unit Training: Several options are available for units to participate in PT at the pool. Types of training we support: Water Survival Training, Water Aerobics, Aqua Jogger, APFT Swim Test, Water Exercise, Swimming Technique, Water Polo, Inner Tube Water Polo, PPPT (Pregnancy Postpartum Physical Training) and Water Basketball. Dates should be checked on for availability. Reservations need to be made at least two weeks in advance. A "Pool Training Reservation Request" should be submitted to the Aquatic Manager at Yano Fitness Center. Forms can be e-mailed upon request.
*We are no longer accepting pool reservations for PT. We will only accept reservations for Required Drown Proofing Water Survival Training. All PT reservations will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
